Training normally every Wednesday 5.30 to 6.30 on the Cleeve Astro. Please arrive at 5.15 so we can warm up before the session.

A superb opening goal from Greg, created by good link up play by Ethan and Sam was not enough to hold out a strong Cashes Green team who are leading Division 2. Nevertheless, a good performance, from which we can take a lot of positives.

Goals from Sam, Elliot P (pen) and Ethan secured a rare clean sheet for United against an improving Charlton Rovers Blues team.

Once again, an excellent team effort, work rate and commitment was superb and the Saracens manager told us afterwards that this was their hardest game this season so far. So well done all round and hopefully we can maintain the same level of performance in the next game.

13/11/11 - United 0 GVR Chalford 10 (CUP)
An improved performance, against a team in a higher division. Work rate was excellent, but Chalford ran away as comfortable winners in the end. Now we can concentrate on the league ;-)
06/11/11 - Cashes Green 8 United 1
A disappointing scoreline which suggests Cashes were dominant throughout, however this was not the case. Cashes scored twice in the first half, but at half-time United were very much still in the game. Missed chances would prove to be our downfall, as we failed to score before Cashes added a third goal shortly after the break. A fantastic goal from Sam Randall gave us some hope but this was quelled when cashes added a fourth goal. Poor communication all round led to four further goals - and a very unhappy coaching team. A big improvement is needed next week...
30/10/11 - United 4 Fintan 1
A comprehensive win over Fintan in the league (our fourth win against them this season) with goals from Matt (2), Sam and Charlie.
