Today we had 2 games

1st Match v Churchdown Panthers Colts was an incredibly one sided match , we had loads and loads of chances and were somehow losing 1-0 at half time. In the 2nd half we kept pressing and scored a deserved equaliser from Will arriving on the far post notching his first and last goal of the season . We were never really tested defensively and should have won, we played really well.

2nd match was another close affair and we took the lead through a well worked set of passes playing in John who blasted past the keeper. The dragons equalised , Tom gave us all a scare when the ball hit the post and Kieron produced a challenge that they would love to analyse on Match of the Day. Ouch !! We continued to press forward and Owen who had an awesome day in midfield brilliantly chipping the keeper to make it 2-1 for his first and last goal of the season ! After that we still had to work hard to hold on to the win. Well done !

So we finished the league in 16th place out of 22 , not bad considering we started out just over a year ago with 6 players . we now have a healthy squad of 14 and the team's a lot stronger . This season has all been about learning for all of us , we've improved our skills and techniques and are starting to look like a team . The most important thing is that we all work for each other , that's clear to see and bodes well for the future. You can all be a bit of a pain sometimes but hey , I was  a 9 year old a long time ago , it's fun so enjoy it.
